It boosts immunity, soothes the digestive system, and keeps infections away. It can be used in powdered form or raw.

Garlic

This popular herb is regularly used in Indian cuisines as well as in Ayurveda for treating different health issues. Apart from boosting the immune system of the body, its anti-inflammatory properties effectively reduce inflammation. Compound allicin is present in garlic and works as an antioxidant to lessen the oxidative stress that can be caused due to summer heat or other health conditions. You can eat raw garlic or add it as a spice to your food.

Cinnamon

It is a commonly used herb that regulates blood sugar levels and boosts the immune system. Although it is more prominently used during winter to treat cough and cold it is equally good in treating summer-related inflammation. You can add cinnamon to smoothies, for seasoning vegetables and salads, and for oatmeal.

Rosemary

This herb has been used widely in Mediterranean cuisines and as a natural remedy for centuries. Its anti-inflammatory compound rosmarinic acid reduces inflammation, boosts immunity, and improves digestion . It is commonly used as a seasoning on salads and meat dishes.

Basil

Eugenol compound in Basil leaves has anti-inflammatory properties that improve digestion, boost immunity, and fight inflammation.
