Snana Purnima 2022: Puri police issue traffic advisory, check details

The stage is all set for the royal bathing ritual of the sibling deities of Puri Jagannath temple on the occasion of Snana Purnima.

As the devotees will be allowed to have darshan of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra on the Snana Bedi after a gap of almost two years, the Puri administration anticipates huge footfall of devotees.

The Puri police have also issued traffic advisory for Snana Purnima rituals.

Details:

The regulation of vehicular traffic shall be imposed from 00 hours on June 13 till the end of Snana Purnima festival i.e June 14, 2022 as per traffic mobility plan.

-There will be no restrictions on regular passenger buses from Bhubaneswar/Konark side to enter municipality bus stand.

-The buses coming from Bhubaneswar and other areas will be diverted accordingly. Puri Town Buses will be allowed up to Medical chhak on Badadanda.

-All light motor vehicles/SUVs/cars will avail parking facilities at the parking places at Jagannath Ballav, Saradhabali, Yatrika, Blue Flag beach and Dighabarini. They will be diverted as per availability of space in parking lots.

-For smooth darshan of the Lord by the devotees, no vehicle zone will be ensured from Marchikut chhak to Jaga Balia lodge.
