Close on the heels of the untimely demise of superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, comedian Raju Srivastav and Television hearthrob Sidharth Shukla, Kasautii Zindagi Kay fame actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi passed away at the age of 46.

The handsome hunk reportedly collapsed in the gym during a workout session. While no exact reason for his death was immediately known, it is being reported that he suffered a heart attack.

Fellow gym-goers and trainer immediately rushed him to Kokilaben Hospital where he was declared dead.

 

As soon as the news spread, his close friends Sharad Kelkar, Anita Hassanandani and others rushed to the hospital and offered condolences to the family.

Meanwhile, speaking to HT, his close friend Vishwapreet Kaur said that the actor was under stress.

Vishwapreet Kaur revealed that Siddhaanth Vir’s trianer had advised him to do yoga. However, he continued to gym and lift. She also revealed that being an actor, he was under a lot of stress.

 

Vishwapreet Kaur was quoted saying, “We don’t know much. We were supposed to meet today (Friday) after the gym. He even came to my place a few days ago. He is a very dear friend of mine. I used to tell him ki Yoga kar, stress kam hoga. He was my only friend. I’m in shock." When asked he was under stress, she said, “Which actor isn’t? He was under a lot of stress. This city is stressful.”

The actor is survived by his wife and child. Meanwhile, many filmmakers and fellow actors expressed shock on his untimely demise.
