However, a recent surprising statement from Shubman Gill appears to have put to rest speculations about his relationship status.
Shubman Gill, in a video clip with Ed Sheeran and Tanmay Bhatt, admitted to being single. In the video, when the British singer asked him if he did have a girlfriend, Shubman straight-facedly replied, ‘No’. Hearing his response, Tanmay Bhatt gave a loud laugh. Hearing that, Ed Sheeran said, "On The Market, Guys!"
Later, the singer said that one of his wife's friends had sent him a message. Shubman Gill began laughing after that comment.
Soon after the video went viral, some of the internet users, jokingly blamed Ishan Kishan for the alleged break up of Sara Tendulkar and Shubman.
One user wrote, “Haina ishan kisan.” A second user wrote, “Girlfriend nhi hai boyfriend hai.”
Notably, Shubman and Ishan share a close bond with each other and are often seen goofing together in the dressing room.
However, other fans pointed out he was lying and wrote, “He is lieing we know shubsara is forever they are together.” Another wrote, “The other guy is laughing that hard when Shubman said lie.” A third user quipped, “Girlfriend se fiance ban gyi tohhh.”
