  • Shahid Kapoor's Bloody Daddy is now streaming on JioCinema.
  • For the first time, the Kabir Singh actor will be seen doing action scenes in this Abbas Ali Zafar-helmed flick.

Shahid Kapoor’s Bloody Daddy directed by Abbas Ali Zafar will start steaming on JioCinema free from June 9. The trailer of the movie was launched a few days ago and has left all Sasha fans highly impressed.

The Kabir Singh actor will be seen in a full-action avatar for the first time in Bloody Daddy and was the first choice for Ali who has directed some smashing hits like Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan, Bharat, and Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Interestingly, despite being an action-oriented flick, Bloddy Daddy was completed in just 36 days. Revealing the same, Shahid Kapoor during one of the promotions said that he had always wanted to do an action film with Ali and when the famous director came to him with the script he knew this was the right movie with which he can launch himself as the action hero on the digital platform.

Ali said that when the script came to him, he knew that only Shahid Kapoor will be fit for the role as it required an actor who can act with intensity and whose characters come out much bigger than his stardom. Shahid said that they shot the movie in 36 days and he does not know how Ali managed that without compromising on the quality.

In response to a question from the press regarding how he managed to burst out that intensity and energy on the screen, the Jab We Met actor had a hilarious reply. Sasha said that he is married for 8 years now and hence cannot take out the frustration at home and instead takes it out on the set.

He added Farzi was a warm-up and he blew out all his frustration in full in Bloody Daddy. The Bollywood star said that at home he is a completely domesticated person.

Shahid appreciated his director saying that he simply does not compromise at any place and that is why he just put himself on the director’s lap and did what Ali told him to do.
