A few days after actress Aahana Kumra was touched inappropriately by a fan during an event in Mumbai, ‘Dangal’ actress Sanya Malhotra has also opened up on her experience of harassment.

In a recent interview, Sanya revealed how she was harassed by a group of men inside Delhi Metro during her college days. In another incident, a fan tried to touch her inappropriately even as the paparazzi stood mute spectators.

Speaking about the harassment in Delhi Metro, Sanya said, “I was alone, so I stayed quiet. It was such a situation when I couldn’t do anything. They started teasing and touching. I felt helpless, but I knew if I said anything, anything could happen. People generally say, ‘kuch kiya kyun nahin tumne?’. But when that situation comes, haath, paer phool jaate hain. You only want to survive that situation.”

The Kathal actress further added that although the miscreants followed her, no one offered to help her. She managed to go inside a washroom at Rajiv Chowk and called her father to pick her up.

She also opened up on how she was touched inappropriately by a fan in Mumbai.

“I was like, what the hell? The photographers also didn’t help me. They were seeing that I’m uncomfortable. I was so angry, so I called the fan and told him, ‘you did wrong’,” the actress revealed.

On the professional front, the gorgeous beauty is doing well in terms of work and has managed to grab a major role in superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Jawan’.

The actress is very excited to finally collaborate with SRK and called the opportunity a ‘dream come true’ moment.
