Putting an end to the speculation, the actor herself stepped forward to clarify that the claims were entirely baseless.

Kajal Reassures Fans of Her Safety

On Monday, Kajal took to her official social media handles to dismiss the rumours and reassure fans. She firmly stated that she is safe, healthy, and continuing her work commitments.

Kajal wrote on her Instagram Stories and X, “I’ve come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident (and no longer around!) and honestly, it’s quite amusing because it’s absolutely untrue.” (sic)

She further added, “By the grace of God, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well. I kindly request you not to believe or circulate such false news. Let’s focus our energies on positivity and truth instead. With love and gratitude Kajal” (sic)

When ETimes reached out to her to verify the reports, Kajal briefly responded, saying, “I am busy right now and will connect with you later,” once again confirming that the rumours had no truth to them.

How the Death Hoax Began

As per media reports, the false narrative started with viral social media posts that claimed Kajal had sustained fatal injuries in a car accident. These unverified messages were circulated widely without any official confirmation, fueling panic among fans. Several portals even picked up the misinformation, further amplifying the hoax until Kajal herself stepped in to put an end to it.

Kajal’s Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Kajal was last seen in Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa, alongside Akshay Kumar and also featured in the Hindi film Sikandar, featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. She will next appear in Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated Indian 3.
