Shahid Kapoor indirectly takes a jibe at Ranveer-Deepika; 'not the type of people to work with'; watch

Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh worked together for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. While it was the first movie of Sasha with SLB, Deep-Veer had already worked with him earlier for Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani.

After the release of Padmavaat, Ranveer Singh made some cryptic comments on Shahid Kapoor indirectly hinting that he could have done the character of Maharawal Ratan Singh played by Shahid better.

Shahid was hurt by such comments and did reply in his own way. Later on, it seemed that the two had buried their hatchet.

However, the recent interview of the Kaminey actor with a leading film journalist indicates that the experience of working with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has left a big impact on Shahid’s mind.

Revealing the same he said that while working on one specific film he learned something very important. Shahid Kapoor said, “You want to delve into what are the type of people you are working with. Not just in terms of their professional accomplishments or their creative potential but how they are as people that matter. It matters a lot to me now as to who I spent my year with this vibe of a person, with this energy of a person, or with this kind of personality and discipline of a person."

Shahid said that now he wants to think whether he wants to align with these sorts of people or not before saying yes to a movie. If it is going to be more negative than positive for him in the long term then that can create a chain of reactions that he does not want.

It is quite evident that Shahid Kapoor could not align with Deepika and Ranveer during the making of Padmaavat and if it is impacting him even after years then he certainly was disturbed in a big way.
