Megastar Amitabh Bachchan-hosted popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15 has found its first Rs 1 crore winner. The contestant identified as Jaskaran from Punjab has become the first contestant to win Rs 1 crore this season.
The promo of the upcoming episode shows Big B giving him the last question for Rs 7 crore. The official Instagram handle of Sony TV shared the promo video and wrote, “Paar kar har mushkil Punjab ke chhote se gaon Khalra se aaye Jaskaran pahunch chuke hain iss khel ke sabse bade Rs 7 crore ke sawaal par! Dekhiye #KaunBanegaCrorepati, 4th & 5th Sept, Somvaar-Mangalvaar rat 9 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par.”
The promo video shows Big B announcing that Jaskaran has won Rs 1 crore. Later it shows the flashback of Jaskaran’s life in his small village in Punjab. He reveals that he is one of the few people who have graduated in his village. He further reveals that he is currently preparing for UPSC exam and will appear his first attempt next year. The promo ends with Big B posing the final Rs 7 crore question to Jaskaran.
Reacting to Sony TV’s post, Jaskaran wrote, “Thankk you @sonytvofficial" with a black heart and Namaste emoji.
Even as several contestants have reached the 15th round and taken home Rs 1 crore, no one has so far been able to answer the 16th question worth Rs 7 crore. Hopefully, Jaskaran from Punjab will become the first person to win Rs 7 crore and create history in Kaun Banega Crorepati.
For those who want to watch the episode, it will air on Sony TV at 9 pm on September 4 and 5. Worth mentioning, megastar Big B has been hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati since its first season in 2000, the Hindi adaptation of the popular British quiz show ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire?’
However, Big B was replaced by superstar Shah Rukh Khan for the third season, before Amitabh Bachchan took over once again.
