Janhvi Kapoor opens up about her first-ever serious boyfriend, reason for breakup

The stunning Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and veteran actress Sridevi, is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood. After her debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Dhadak’, she has carved a niche for herself in the film industry.

With back-to-back hit movies, she is currently one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry. Although the actress is doing well professionally, fans are quite interested in her personal life. Recently, the ‘Bawaal’ actress shared interesting details about her ‘first ever serious relationship’ and the reason for her breakup.

“My first ever serious boyfriend was that same ‘chup chup ke milenge’, ‘jhooth bol bol ke’, all of that and but unfortunately that relationship ended because I had to lie so much and mom and dad were like ‘no you will never have a boyfriend’….very conservative,” Janhvi revealed.

“That’s when I realised having your parents approval and having transparency with them makes everything so easy. It makes you feel so much more confident about your decision,” she further added.

However, the actress did not reveal the name of her boyfriend, but fans are guessing it is Shikhar Pahariya, grandson of former Maharashtra chief minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. Janhvi is rumoured to be dating Shikhar for a very long time now.

On several occasions, Shikhar has been spotted with Janhvi Kapoor and his family. On her birthday, he had posted a sweet picture with her in which he can be seen holding her close to him. 

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen in Mr and Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao. She also has a Telugu film with RRR fame Jr. NTR.
