News Highlights

  • Vijay recently uploaded a video clip that shows both he and Sam engaged in a knock-knock game.
  • Samantha looks bright and beautiful with her glasses while Vijay is in a cool mood.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently in Los Angeles, United States. She has been repeatedly sharing her pictures from America and fans love her Instagram clips that she is dropping almost daily. Reportedly, the Tollywood beauty is currently in the US for the treatment of the autoimmune disease Myositis.

The good news is that Kushi, her upcoming movie with Vijay Deverakonda is scheduled to release on September 1. The team has already kick-started the promotions and even Samantha when she was in India joined the promotional events a few times. But since she is abroad, Vijay Deverakonda has now come up with a unique way to promote Kushi to ensure that the hype for this romantic flick stays escalated till its release.

On Sunday evening today, the Dear Comrade actor uploaded a video clip that shows both Vijay and Sam engaged in a 'knock-knock game' over a video call. Samantha slays in her gorgeous look while Vijay seems to be in a relaxed mood.

The Family Man actress asks, “What's Up, Is everything okay.” In reply, Vijay says, “Ya, I was missing you and I have a knock-knock joke for you.”

Surprised Sam says, “No, really? It is 1.30 in LA. Ok, fine.” And then the game begins and ends with Vijay singing the 'Naa Roja Nuvve' song from their upcoming movie Kushi.

All in all, it is one way for the Kushi couple to promote the song from their movie. Vijay Deverakonda has always maintained that he has a big crush on Samantha and the two seem to look lovely together onscreen and offscreen. Interestingly, both the South actors are currently at a point in their careers where they desperately need a big hit to stay relevant.

Vijay’s Bollywood debut Liger was a disaster whereas Samantha’s solo-lead Shakuntaalam was also a dud. Vibes are currently very positive about Kushi since fans have loved Vijay-Sam’s pair and hope that if the content is strong, it could pull these two stars from their 'current career crisis.'
