Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om is one of the most remarkable movies ever done in Bollywood. While the 2007's melodrama movie brought on board the entire Bollywood onto a single platform, it also introduced the extremely talented and beautiful actress Deepika Padukone to the B-Town. But do you know how Deepu got the magnificent chance of debuting opposite SRK?

Even as the movie is about to ring its 15 years, admirers are still in awe of the movie helmed by choreographer turned director Farah Khan. Recently, during a podcast, Deepika made the big revelation about how she got the golden opportunity of making her debut with SRK.

When asked about how she got the opportunity, Deepu said, "Farah Khan, who is the director I debuted with, saw this photoshoot and took it to Shah Rukh Khan. He was then doing a film 'Chak De! India' in Australia. Farah took these photos and showed him, "She's the face. I found the face." Without auditioning me or without having ever met me, she took the pictures to Shah Rukh."

The Padmaavat actress went on to add, SRK asked Farah to go ahead with her decision if she was ok with it. And, the next thing she knew was that she was working with India's biggest superstar Shah Rukh Khan and one of India's biggest female directors in her first Bollywood movie, and without auditioning.

Well, certainly, it's like a dream come true moment for Deepika. In these 15 years, the actress has proven her talent and cemented her place among the A-listed actresses in the B-Town.

Apart from being one of the highest paid actresses, she has clinched three Filmfare awards and several other accolades. After her first screen appearance in Himesh Reshamiya's music album 'Naam hai tera', she featured in a Kannada movie. After that, she has so far appeared in over 35 movies including a Hollywood flick. Currently, she has as many as three movies in her kitty.
