Taking to his X, formerly known as Twitter, Amaal wrote, “Aaj kal ganon ke naam pe kuch bhi bana rahi hai public (These days people are making anything in the name of music).” Although Amaal did not directly name anyone, fans speculated that he was hinting at Salman Khan and Arijit Singh.
On the other hand, Arijit Singh, who has teamed up with Salman Khan for the first time, opened up on his controversy with Bhaijaan and revealed how the incident at the awards show got messed up.
“I was tired and dozed off when my name was announced. I know it was wrong. While I was walking up to the stage, they started capturing my images in my chappals and casuals. Salman Khan was laughing in disbelief. When I got on the stage, he asked me if I had fallen asleep, I was so nervous that I blurted out aap logon ne sula dia,” Arijit revealed.
“When he handed me the award, I whispered sorry into his ear, I couldn’t say more,” he added.
