After the stupendous success of Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, Ranbir Kapoor has dropped a major update about the upcoming Part Two: Dev and has confirmed that it will be 10 times bigger than the prequel. The ‘Animal’ actor also opened up on his wife Alia Bhatt and the criticism they faced for Part One.

Interacting with fans in virtual mode, Ranbir said, “Brahmastra Part Two is heavy in writing. We are working on it the whole time. It’s just last week Ayan narrated the film to me and his idea has gone 10 times bigger than Part One.”

The film’s director Ayan Mukerji is currently busy with the direction of superstar Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s War 2. Ranbir revealed that Brahmastra Part 2 will go on the floors after the wrap of War 2.

Ranbir further added that Brahmastra 2 will hopefully start at the end of next year or early 2025. The actor further assured that the ‘constructive criticism’ given by fans from Part One has been considered seriously.

“We have really understood the kind of criticism we got for the film. What worked for it and what didn’t work for it? So, we put everything into consideration, the dialogues or Shiva and Isha’s chemistry, there was something missing. So we are trying to understand that and go beyond that,” Ranbir added.

Worth mentioning, Brahmastra Part 1 was the highest-grossing film of 2022 in Bollywood, grossing over Rs 400 crores worldwide. It was the first part of the trilogy in the three-part Astraverse by Ayan Mukerji. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, and superstar Shah Rukh Khan played pivotal roles in the film.

If reports are to be believed, the gorgeous Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are going to feature in Brahmastra 2.
