National rural talent scholarship exam: BSE Odisha releases important instructions

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has released an important notification regarding the National Rural Talent Scholarship (NRTS) examination 2022.

As per the official BSE notification, students of any school recognised by the Odisha government who have received ‘No Objection Certificate’ of having passed Class 8 and continuing in Class-9 are eligible to appear at the NRTS examination.

All the application for NRTS Examination, 2022 will be made through online mode and the portal is now active. The last date for online application is July 30, 2022 midnight.

Instructions and details:

A school can register any number of candidates provided they are willing to appear. The Head of the Institutions will be the log-in authorities for registration of candidates. They will log in with their school code as their User ID and Password.

Suitable students shall be selected for the scholarship through a written examination to be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. The examination will be conducted in subjects like MIL, Mathematics, General Science and Social Science.

Rate Of Scholarship: The selected students will get Rs.250 per month for 24 months till he/ she continues his/ her studies in the Secondary level i.e. in Class-9 and 10 with satisfactory performance. Examination Fee: The fee for NRTS Examination, 2022 is Rs.60per candidate
