Cracking the Civil Services Examination is one of the most challenging and competitive exams in India. Forget about cracking UPSC, even getting a good rank in the first attempt isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

However, IFS Tamali Saha was only 23 when she cracked UPSC that too in her very first attempt. Hailing from West Bengal, the remarkable journey of Tamali should serve as a source of hope and inspiration for thousands of UPSC aspirants who are on the verge of giving up due to failure or other personal reasons.

Her success story is the perfect example to show that everything is possible with the correct approach, perseverance, and unshakeable dedication.

Born in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Tamali went to school in her homeland. After her schooling, she shifted to Kolkata for her undergraduate and subsequently her graduation, a report in DNA India revealed.

However, she knew from the very beginning that Civil Services Exam was her call. She had already started her preparation for the UPSC since her college days. She made her first attempt in 2020 after her graduation. She cracked UPSC and subsequently decided to go for Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

Her success story is a motivation for aspirants who aspire to do something in life and bring pride to their family, friends, and community. Her story is also a shining example of how one’s age does not define their success.
