IAS officer Tani Dabi, the 2015 UPSC topper, welcomed her first child in a hospital in Jaipur. IAS couple Tina Dabi and Pradeep Gawande embraced parenthood for the first time as they welcomed a baby boy.

One year after their wedding, the couple welcomed their first child and congratulatory messages have been pouring in for them. Tina met Pradeep, a 2013 batch IAS officer during the Covid-19 pandemic.

After her divorce from IAS officer Athar Amir Khan, Tina married Pradeep on April 22 last year in a private ceremony in Rajasthan in the presence of close friends and family. It was Pradeep who proposed Tina, reports said.

A few weeks back, Tina had posted a heartfelt message on Instagram as she left for maternity leave. She was serving as the district collector of Jaisalmer. Before that, she was serving as the joint secretary in the Rajasthan finance department.

Tina Dabi shot to the spotlight after she became the first Dalit to top the prestigious civil services exam, that too in the first attempt. She is a graduate of Delhi’s Lady Shri Ram College.

She fell in love with the IAS officer, the second rank holder in the 2015 UPSC exams. The duo met during the training period and fell in love. They eventually got married in 2018. However, the inter-faith wedding did not last long as the couple had to call it quits after a few years.

Her short-lived marriage to Athar also made national headlines and became a huge point of discussion on social media.
