CUET UG 2024 registration to start soon, exam likely in hybrid mode with less subject choice

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to make an announcement regarding the registration dates for the much-awaited Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024. Sources said that the CUET UG form is expected to be made available by this week-end or next week.

The application link will be active on the official website cuet.smarth.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency conducts the CUET exam on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). This year, the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG) is likely to be held in a hybrid mode.

The decision is said to have been taken to facilitate candidates, particularly those from rural areas, to take up the exam near their homes.

As per the tentative schedule, the CUET UG exam is likely to be held in the month of May. Sources said the CUET UG will be conducted in the usual OMR-based pen-and-paper test and Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The third edition of the CUET exam is also likely to see some major changes, from format to the number of subjects allowed to the difficulty level. The number of subjects a candidate can choose will be reduced from 10 to six.
