The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced to constitute an expert committee to address the concerns and disputes flagged by a school regarding a subject in Class 10 Term-1 Examination.

As per reports, the school had flagged a dispute regarding answer-key of Odia subject in Class 10 claiming that the answers given in the answer key for some of the questions were wrong.

In its latest notice, CBSE has said, “With a view to ascertain the factual position, an expert committee has been constituted by the Board which will examine the discrepancies raised in the representation.”

The Board has further said that an appropriate decision will be taken within 24 hours on the basis of the report of the expert committee.

 

 

It is pertinent to mention here that the performance of students in Class 10 Term 1 Examination was communication all the schools by CBSE on March 11. In the notice, CBSE has claimed to have  made available a Dispute Redressal Mechanism on the same day to address the genuine issues of the students.
