SSC CHSL Recruitment for 3259 posts: Hurry up! Here comes the last day to apply

Bhubaneswar: The last (extended date) day to apply for 3259 SSC CHSL posts under various categories is December 27, 2017. If you are yet to apply, apply now to avoid the last hour rush.

The online application process for recruitment to SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2017-18 was extended after students complained of some technical glitches while applying online.

How to Apply Online

1. Visit the official website www.ssc.nic.in

2. Click on Apply ‘CHSL’

3. Click on ‘Click Here to Apply’ and Register first by filling all the asked details

4. After Registration part is done, click on ‘Apply Online’

5. Fill all the details and submit the form

Application Fee

Candidates applying will have to shell out Rs 100. No fee is required for women candidates of all categories and SC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen.

Other Important Details

Age Limit

Candidates need to be between 18-27 years of age as on August 1, 2018. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC nd 10 years for Differently-abled candidates.

Educational Qualification

Candidates need to have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University for Post- 1 & 2. For Post- 3, 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent is required.

Selection Process

Selection of the candidates will be done purely on the basis of a computer-based exam, descriptive test, skill test and interview.
