Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) will conduct the Class 10, Class 12 Board exams from February 15. While the Class 12 Board exams will start from February 15, Class 10 will commence from February 21.

According to a report of ANI, a total of 18,27,472 students will appear for CBSE Class 10 Board exam- 1070579 boys, 756893 girls and 22 transgenders. Similarly, 1287359 students will appear for CBSE Class 12 Board exam- 748498 boys, 538861 girls and 6 transgender.

Meanwhile, CBSE has made some minor changes to check unfair means part from coming up with a three-tier security check to ensure no paper leak issue.

Besides, students uniform has been made mandatory for regular students. In case, a student is found without school uniform, he/she may be denied admission to the examination centre.

Moreover, it’s advisable that students must to reach to their respective exam centres before 10 am as the gate of exam centre’s would be closed after that. As per reports, the exam centres have been instructed about the same.

CBSE had also earlier released a statement stating that students must reach the exam centre on or before 9.45 am on the days of exams and be seated in the exam hall at or before 10 am as 'no child will be permitted after 10 am'.
