The Odisha higher education department has urged the National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) to revoke withdrawal of recognition of 15 Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) and accord approval to start B.Ed and M.Ed programmes from the current academic session

School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today held a meeting with all district education officers and directed them to emphasise more on online education and examinations. 

Nishank said that the students who are not satisfied with their result under this process will be given an opportunity to appear in the examination to be conducted by the CBSE if the conditions are favourable.

The Vice Chairman of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Tusarkanti Tripathy on Thursday stressed that performance of students in their past board Class 10 examinations will play a big role in the Plus II results which will be evaluated by the board soon. 

CBSE told the Supreme Court that the Class XII results will be decided on the basis of performance in Class 10 (30% weightage), Class 11 (30% weightage) & Class 12 (40% weightage).

The process of conduct of online practical examination etc. and uploading of marks shall be completed by June 28, 2021 under all circumstances, CBSE said.

UGC informed that it is in the process of upgrading the job portal with the inclusion of Non-Teaching vacancies and also adding some new features. The upgraded portal shall become functional shortly.

The State Mass Education Department has released detailed guidelines for the online virtual live classes through YouTube streaming for the elementary standard of class 1 to 8.

Senior officials of the CBSE have expressed hope that the evaluation criteria, which has been prepared on the basis of the report of the 12-member committee of experts, may be released this week.

CBSE had on June 4 constituted a 12-member high-level committee for the evaluation formula and after the panel submits its report, the result is expected to be declared.
