Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)s are expected to announce the dates for the JEE Advanced 2019 soon. The dates are usually notified in the month of October or November.

Candidates who have qualified in this year's JEE (Mains) can check about the eligibility criteria, cut off and other details from the official website www. jeeadv.ac.in.

The examination is expected to be conducted on May 12, 2019.

On the other hand, students are also waiting for the National Testing Agency (NTA) to release the allotment and exam dates and shift details for JEE Mains 2019, the qualifier of the JEE Advanced.

It would be the first time that the NTA is conducting the examination and that too twice a year-JEE Main 2019 in January as well as JEE Main in 2019 April.

Candidates who are interested to apply can check the details through the official website, jeemain.nic.in.

It is worthwhile to mention that if a student appears both the examination, the higher of the two scores would be used for calculation of JEE Mains.

To be eligible for JEE main or advanced, a score of at least 75 per cent in Class 12 (+plus II) exams or a place among the top 20 percentile of the Boards is required.
