The Council of Higher Secondary Education will soon come up with the details of the planned virtual classes, informed the Minister.
Odisha Plus-2 students will soon be able to attend online classes through YouTube live streaming. This information was given by Odisha School & Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday (Aug 18).
Though online YouTube learning has kicked off in Odisha, out of around 66 lakh students, only around 12 lakh students are reportedly attending the classes.
With no immediate possibility of reopening of schools for class room teaching in sight, the Odisha government kicked off live streaming of classes on YouTube platform for Class I to Class X students from today.
The State Mass Education Department has released detailed guidelines for the online virtual live classes through YouTube streaming for the elementary standard of class 1 to 8.
Students in Odisha will be attending live classes on YouTube in a routine manner starting from June 21, 2021. As per the Odisha School Education Program Authority, the students of different classes will be attending classes under this arrangement.
