Miscreants vandalise ATM in Balasore; police begin probe

Balasore: A State Bank of India ATM was vandalized by some unidentified miscreants near Adda Bazar under Simulia police limits in Balasore late on Monday night.

The matter came to light after neighbouring shop owners heard a noise and spotted some miscreants near the ATM. Subsequently, they informed the police.

After getting information about the incident, Simulia Police reached the spot and sealed the ATM. As per latest reports,there has been no confirmation on robbery yet.

While the miscreants managed to escape from the spot, a police investigation is currently underway.

Earlier on December 6, unidentified miscreants looted an unspecified amount of money from an Axis Bank ATM at Tala Bazaar Market Complex in Santaragadia area of Balasore. Similarly on December 4 2018, an Indicash ATM was vandalized in the district.
