Some unidentified miscreants allegedly uprooted & fled with an entire SBI ATM with around Rs 20 lakh cash inside. The loot was reported from Majhipali area in Sambalpur . The miscreants damaged the CCTV inside the ATM and cut its cable before decamping with the cash machine.

The miscreants would insert their cards and once the PIN and requested amount had been keyed in, the machine would authenticate the card and the process of cash dispensation would begin.
The miscreants had allegedly uprooted the ATM with the help of a stolen vehicle at Lingipur Housing Board Colony area under Dhauli police limits on April 5.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the miscreants used a stolen vehicle to transport the ATM from the SBI kiosk. The vehicle belonging to a nursery was stolen last night by the criminals involved in the loot of the ATM.
Earlier on November 26, six miscreants on two motorcycles came to the ATM near the Laxmi Narayan temple in Charampa area and threatened the employees of a cash agency while they were busy in loading cash in the kiosk. They later filled a bag with the notes and fled the spot with around Rs 29 lakh on their motorbikes.
The miscreants have reportedly decamped with the battery of one of the kiosks while some other ATMs were found vandalised due to the break-in.
