Bhubaneswar man arrested for thrashing, tonsuring daughter's molester

Bhubaneswar: Police today arrested a man for taking law in to his own hands by manhandling & tonsuring a teacher who allegedly molested his daughter a couple of days back in Mancheswar area of Bhubaneswar.

As per reports, the man along with several other persons thrashed the accused teacher on charges of harassment. The mob also tonsured the accused. Following the incident, the teacher as well as the girl's family had lodged complaints at Mancheswar Police Station.

"Based on the complaints from both sides, we had arrested the teacher on allegations of harassing the girl. Furthermore, we had filed a case against the persons involved in manhandling the teacher and have arrested the girl's father today for violating the law," informed Police Commissioner, Satyajit Mohanty.
