A local court in Villupuram on Friday sentenced former Tamil Nadu Special DGP Rajesh Das to three years of imprisonment in a sexual harassment case.
According to sources, the accused, identified as Prafulla Bindhani, launched an attack on his uncle Haru and cousin Krishna in which the duo sustained critical injuries.
Sahu sustained grievous injuries in his hand and thigh. He was immediately rushed to Kamakhanagar hospital.
While the victim is yet to be formally identified by police in the UK, reports from India indicated it was Kontham Tejaswini – a young professional from Hyderabad.
