Rupee gains 4 paise

Mumbai:  The Indian rupee rose by 4 paise to Rs 45.55 against the US dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange today.

The rupee had closed marginally higher by 2 paise at Rs 45.59/60 per dollar in the previous session.
