New Delhi: Australian cricketer Luke Pomersbach, accused of molesting an American woman in a hotel here, on Monday submitted to a Delhi court his bail bond and other relevant documents to meet the conditions on which he was granted bail on Saturday.

The 27-year-old batsman, playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, appeared before Metropolitan Magistrate Navita Kumari Bagha and also submitted the details of a second person, who stood as a surety for him. The court, which had enlarged Pomersbach on bail on a personal bond of Rs 30,000 along with two sureties of the like amount, accepted his surety bond and other relevant documents.

On May 19, Pomersbach had only one surety to stand for him while the court had sought two sureties for bail. The court had granted bail to Pomersbach saying that no offence under section 452 of the IPC for `house-trespass or wrongful restraint` is made out against him. Pomersbach was also asked by the court to surrender his passport before it and not to leave the country without its prior permission.

Pomersbach, who has a history of brawls and brush with police of his country, is accused of outraging the modesty of a woman here on the intervening night of May 17-18 night, after a post-match party. Pomersbach was arrested on Friday last after the woman Zohal Hamid alleged that he molested her and hit her fiance Sahil Peerzada when he objected to the cricketer`s behaviour.

The court had granted bail to Pomersbach saying he had not trespassed into her room in the five star hotel where the alleged incident took place. The Delhi police had also played the CCTV footage of the five star hotel on a laptop inside the courtroom and submitted the medical reports of Sahil, undergoing treatment in a private hospital after the alleged incident.
