While 1.55 lakh crimes were registered in 2021, over 1.78 lakh criminal cases were registered in the year 2022 which included 1,301 murder and 3,135 rape cases
“We have already provided Rs 415 crore to the DISCOMs for providing electricity connections to the left-over households. We will try to achieve this by August 2023,” said the Energy Minister.
In Rayagada district, Kashipur block has been the worst affected. The farmers here cultivated vegetables like corn, tomato, cauliflower, cabbage, coriander etc. on acres of land.
Apart from the march, the district administration has also called a Peace Committee meeting on March 22 inviting all the stakeholders in the Ram Navami celebrations and representatives from all the communities.
