Puri-Ayodhya Train Services Will Boost Spiritual Tourism In The Country

A special train will soon roll between the pilgrim cities of Puri Jagannath Dham and Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced this during a foundation stone laying ceremony in Puri on Thursday. The train service between the two most visited pilgrimage sites will forge a strong cultural connection in the country. Apart from strengthening connectivity, the facility will give a major boost to spiritual tourism sector. The project is scheduled to commence in July or August this year.
