Not Allowing Women As First Passengers Will Cost Odisha Bus Owners Big Now!

A day after the State Women Commission urged the transport department to facilitate women passengers boarding buses, Odisha State Transport Authority (STA) on Friday issued a direction stating that the bus operators can’t deny any woman entry as the first passenger. The secretary of the State Transport Authority has written letters to all the RTOs in this regard.
