As per the notification, the elections to 106 urban local bodies (ULBs) and three municipal corporations will be held on March 24. Similarly, the counting of votes will be held on March 26.

It is speculated that the Odisha government may consider holding the elections after the Panchayat polls in the State or they may go for simultaneous polls in February 2022.
