During her two-hour visit, Murmu met Ministers, MLAs and leaders of the BJP and its ally Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) here at a hotel and sought their support for her candidature in the Presidential poll.
"It is a great pleasure for me to come to the soil of Bhagwan Buddha. Our Prime Minister selected me as the candidate for President and I am appealing to leaders of every political party to support me," Murmu said in Patna's Maurya hotel while addressing NDA leaders.
Former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi was also present at the airport.
Meanwhile, The ruling TRS in Telangana on Monday said it would support the candidature of joint opposition nominee Yashwant Sinha in the Presidential election.
