Odisha Education Minister Samir Dash announced a major school transformation drive to upgrade 40 schools to higher secondary schools. The Class 10+2 teaching will commence in the 40 selected schools from the coming academic session 2023-24.
Around 3.5 lakh students have already taken admissions in Class 11 this year and hence classes will start without any further delay.
According to School and Mass Education Minister Samir Dash, already around 3.5 lakh students have taken admissions in Class 11 this year.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education will soon come up with the details of the planned virtual classes, informed the Minister.
