In a major development, Odisha school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday (Nov 3) hinted that schools will reopen in a graded manner.
Dash said that the Naveen Patnaik government is more concerned about the education system in the State and taking all steps to address the issues.
After several students from two schools in Bargarh and Dhenkanal district tested positive for Covid-19 in the state, Odisha School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Tuesday (Sept 7) informed that if required the said schools will be shut to prevent further infections.
Infection among children below 18 years old has reduced on September 7 in comparison to the previous day’s figures. In the last 24 hrs, as many as 93 positive cases have been detected in the category of under 18 years.
Online application process for 6720 posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts), Trained Graduate Teacher Science (PCM), Trained Graduate Teacher Science(CBZ) and Telugu Teacher will commence on September 4, 2021.
