Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond informed on Tuesday that the results of the annual Plus 2 examination, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), will be announced in a couple of days.

Speaking to the media, Minister Gond said, “The results of the annual examination will be announced in a day or two. There will be no further delays, and the students need not worry.”

“As today (May 20) is the last date to apply for Plus 3 admission, we will urge the Higher Education department to extend the deadline,” Gond informed.

Examinations Concluded in March, Evaluation Began in April

Notably, the CHSE Plus 2 board examinations, covering Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams, concluded on March 27, 2025.

The exams, conducted in 1,276 centres across the state, spanned 22 sittings and ran from 10 am to 1 pm daily. A robust anti-malpractice setup, including CCTV surveillance and a five-tier squad, ensured fair conduct throughout the process.

Following the exams, the evaluation process began promptly on April 2, with over 16,000 examiners assessing answer scripts. Examiners were assigned to check either 20 papers of 50 marks or 30 papers of 80 marks per day.

The results for all these streams are likely to be released simultaneously.
