A contingent of 12 athletes with intellectual disability from various parts of Odisha who participated in the Khelo India National Games held at Gandhi Nagar, Gujrat have brought home 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals in athletics and badminton events.

While the countdown for the Tokyo Olympics has already begun, several athletes from Odisha are optimistic about putting up a good show in the international event scheduled to be held from 23 July to 8 August 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.
