This weekend, Bigg Boss 19 will witness a rare twist in its hosting saga. Arshad Warsi, the original host of the very first season in 2006, is returning after nearly 18 years to co-host Weekend Ka Vaar. He'll be reportedly joined by his Jolly LLB 3 co-star, Akshay Kumar, as Salman Khan is absent this week. The episodes are set to air on September 13 and 14, offering fans a nostalgic yet fresh dynamic.

Why Salman Khan Is Missing?

Salman Khan is currently engaged in an intense filming schedule of his upcoming war drama Battle of Galwan in the icy terrain of Ladakh. The shoot began earlier this week and includes high-altitude, physically demanding climax sequences, necessitated by looming harsh winter conditions. Given the tight schedule and remote location, returning to Mumbai for Bigg Boss was simply not feasible.

Arshad Warsi’s return also carries a sense of nostalgia for long-time viewers. He was the very first host of Bigg Boss when the reality show debuted in India back in 2006.
