The buzz around Mirzapur: The Movie has intensified with the exciting confirmation of Abhishek Banerjee’s return as the fan-favourite Compounder. 

Known for his unforgettable chemistry with Munna Bhaiya and his impactful presence in the series, Banerjee’s comeback promises to bring back one of the most memorable dynamics of the franchise.

Banerjee’s Return Confirmed

In a candid chat with a fan, the Stree actor revealed that he is once again stepping into the shoes of Compounder, a character that left a lasting impression on audiences. 

The announcement, coupled with his appearance in the film’s teaser alongside the main cast, has sent fans into a frenzy of anticipation.

Shooting Schedule Kicks Off in Mumbai

Filming for the much-awaited project begins next week at Film City, Mumbai. Pankaj Tripathi, returning as the formidable Kaleen Bhaiyya, will join Banerjee in the first leg of the schedule. By late September, Ali Fazal and Shweta Tripathi Sharma are set to join the ensemble.

Action-Packed Sequences in Uttar Pradesh

The production will then shift to Uttar Pradesh, where crucial action sequences and pivotal plot twists will be shot until December.
The creators aim to wrap up the film by the end of the year, keeping the excitement alive for fans eagerly waiting.
