NEET-UG is the biggest entrance test in India with an average of 18 lakh registrations.

NTA will upload the provisional answer keys, scanned images of OMR answer sheet and recorded responses for NEET (UG) 2022 on its website by August 30, they said.

The release of the official answer key by the testing agency holds utmost significance as it helps the candidates check out how many right answers they have appeared in the entrance test and get their tentative score.

The arrested were charged under the IPC's Section 354 (assault or criminal force to a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty) and Section 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).

The NEET dress code does not permit any such activity as alleged by the parent of the candidate. The code provides for ensuring sanctity and fairness of exam while observing sensitivity towards gender, culture and religion during frisking of candidates, the official added.
