During the first Mann Ki Baat programme of 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the contributions of President's Bodyguard- Virat, the charger horse - who retired on January 26 after 13 years of service.

Sunday's 'Mann Ki Baat' is the first episode of 2022 and Prime Minister remembered Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary.

On January 19, Prime Minister Modi invited citizens to share their ideas and suggestions for 'Mann Ki Baat, which will take place on Sunday, January 30.

In his Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast, Modi said India has achieved "unprecedented feat" in its inoculation drive but cautioned against the new variant of the virus.

The PM also spoke to beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat and wondered at how things are changing at fast pace as the government makes plans, spends the budget, completes the projects on time, people feel that it is working.

Ahead of the birth anniversary of ‘Bhagwan’ Birsa Munda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (Oct 24) recalled the contribution of the brave warrior towards the country.
