The servitors feel the temple administration has an important role to play in solving the disagreement between them and make way for the celebration of Sital Sasthi Jatra of Lord Lingaraj.

This year, Chandan Yatra is being publicly celebrated after two years of tight Covid restrictions. The divine boat rides are happening every evening, and will continue till 24th May.

The 3-week-long Chandan Jatra of Mahaprabhu Jagannath and His siblings kicked off on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya on Tuesday (on May 3). On the same day, began the Chandan Jatra of Lord Lingaraj in Bhubaneswar.
