The NIA had been mulling action against big gangsters like Bishnoi, Kapil Sangwan and Neeraj Bawana and their aides.
Notably it was Brar, a member of the Bishnoi gang, who had first claimed responsibility for Moosewala's murder.
The shooter, identified as Ankit, was also previously found involved in two other heinous cases of attempt to murder in Rajasthan.
