The transport ministry has displayed a proactive attitude and has created a record for the fastest road construction work in the country.

Indian Army soldiers posted in forward areas of Kargil, Eastern Ladakh, Siachen and Ladakh Scouts Regimental centre wish Diwali to countrymen.

The road, constructed by the 58 Engineer Regiment of the Indian Army, will reduce 41-km of travel from Leh (Zingral to Tangtse) to the picturesque Pangong Lake crossing the Kela Pass.
