Justice Singh, who was appointed as a judge of the High Court of Judicature at Patna on April 5, 2012, has been acting as the senior-most judge.

In a record of sorts, a division bench of the Orissa High Court on Monday delivered 75 judgments in criminal appeal matters, mostly related to murder cases.

The petition was filed by Bhagwan Shri Krishna Virajman at Katra Keshav Dev Khewat Mathura through Ranjana Agnihotri and seven others and also the counsel for the respondents.

A division bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad said: "We will pass appropriate orders."

Senior advocate Huzefa Ahmadi mentioned the matter before a bench headed by Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud and comprising Justices P.S. Narasimha and J.B. Pardiwala.
