Prime Minister Narendra Modi will frequent Odisha during every phase of the 2024 elections and have night halts. His visit will start from May 6, informed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday.

”The Prime Minister will address several meetings and will make night halts in Odisha," Pradhan said.

“After the visits of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National President of the BJP JP Nadda, party workers in Odisha are quite enthused and spirited. The BJP has reached out to the people as an alternative to a 24-year old failed government. If the government fails to develop the state, people will certainly raise questions about the government,” he observed.

Stating that the party will be more proactive after the visit of the Prime Minister, Pradhan asserted with confidence that the BJP will win all the 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha.

'Who conspired to stall Ratha Yatra in 2020?'

Launching a scathing attack on the BJD government on the issue of Odia Asmita(identity), the Union Minister questioned if Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and the leader of 4.5 crore Odia people failed to find any of the leaders of his party eligible enough to look after the party affairs.

The Chief Minister has handed over the charge of administration to a non-Odia officer who runs a coterie, the Union Minister observed, asking who had conspired to stall the Ratha Yatra in 2020 and who had got a PIL filed at the Supreme Court to stall Rath Yatra.
