Factors such as state taxes, excise duty, and making charges lead to changes in the price of gold in India.

The prices of 23-carat and 22-carat gold per 10 grams have decreased by 100 to Rs 50,000 and Rs 48,900 respectively.

With a market situation as volatile as now with global cues not so favourable for the investors, the price for 24-carat gold per 10 gram reached Rs 52,400 on Saturday in Bhubaneswar with an increase of Rs 300 from Friday’s price.
