The price for 24-carat gold per 10 grams remains unchanged and is being sold at Rs 54,000 in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

For 23-carat, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal reached Rs 52,100 while the rate of 22-carat gold reached 51,000.

Similarly, the rate of 20, 18 and 14-carat gold remained at Rs 46100, Rs 41800 and Rs 33100, respectively. Pure Ginni (gold coin) is being traded at Rs 42,000 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, gold is being traded at Rs 5,415 per gram (GST 995) and at Rs 5,250 (Cash 995) in Cuttack.

On the other hand, there was no change in price of one kilogram of silver is being sold at Rs 61,100 in Bhubaneswar.

Notably, factors such as state taxes, excise duty, and making charges lead to changes in the price of gold in India.

The updated Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) figures reveal that gold futures, which will mature on 5 October 2022, fell by 0.58 per cent to Rs 51,864.00. Silver futures, which will mature on 5 September this year, also saw a decline of 1.02 per cent and settled at Rs 57,390.00.
